Penn, of course- is this even a serious question??

I said as far as state schools in Ohio, it's considered (at least around here) to be for rich kids. I know it can't compare to private schools, and I never said the kids there were extremely intelligent or could get into selective, expensive schools either.

Miami - place for good looking people with ZERO independent thinking.

Everyone knows the best place in ohio to go is BG! ;)

Hahaha, this is so funny. because I got into Miami and although i have heard that a lot of rich kids go their, i have never really heard of miami being well-known for having an overly attractive student body. but maybe i am just misinformed.

Just visit campus, hotpiece101. I did, and what I saw completely turned me away from the college simply because everyone seemed like rich spoiled brats who cared only about their appearance. But if you're fine with gorgeous people who are always primping themselves, go for it.

I've hung out there for a few weekends and it the term "superficial" ever fit anywhere, it is there. Worst people of all time.

Reed College?

Why?

Cuz I'm gonna be there, har har har.

????????????????????????

Oh come on tourguide. Embrace the shallowness and superficiality! It will set you free.

The question marks weren't a response to your post. They were just an attempt to see where a reply would go if I used the "Reply" option rather than the "Quick Reply." I've written 200-word posts with all sorts of evidence and examples, and nobody takes them seriously. I make 25 question marks and they get a response!! Anyway, PavelB, I just about INVENTED shallowness and superficiality, so you don't have to convince me of their value in this crazy, stressed-out world.

well, maybe i will visit miami and find out if it is the right place for me. from what it sounds like, i don't think we'd be that great of a fit.

Miami is for people who are 1) white, 2) don;t care about other people unless they are like them, 3) conservative because their parents are and they want to save money on taxes, 4) good-looking, 5) only dream about working in insurance, making a decent salary, and not thinking too much.

Sorry to stereotype but if anyplace fits the bill, its this place.

so, i just got a full ride to miami in the mail today....

It's not worth it.

it sums to more than $120,000....

Are we still talking about Miami in Ohio?

yeah, we are.

Ohhhh, I thought you were talking about Miami (FL). I was like, WHAT!?

hahaha, people always think i'm talking about Miami Fl. But i imagine that Miami (FL) would have an attractive student body considering its prime location
