Got them today in MA... finally!

Finally received APUSH in NH today.

Arrived at our house in RI on Monday . . . finally!

Let's see, the published date for dialing in to get scores was 7/1. The date students could actually start dialing in and getting their scores was 6/27. So it took 21 days for the CB to package up my son's scores and send them to RI. I still don't understand why they do not provide them online like the SATs . . . same company, you'd think they could share the technology to provide that type of service . . .

just my personal ramblings -- but...

after a student goes on-line and checks their sat or sat ii scores - what do they often do? they decide whether to sign up to retake them -- the sooner they have the info, the sooner they can decide to register again.

after a student learns their ap scores - what do they generally do? figure out how it will affect what courses they take in college. the sooner they have that info the sooner they can decide on their courses.

i can't help thinking that in these two situations there are different economic incentives at play as to whether the scores should be made readily available quickly, or whether a fee should be charged for a speedy answer. again, just my personal ramblings.
