Just wondering what universities people were considering applying to. Also thought it could help future premeds become familiar w/ premed universities.

I would love to go to UF, but I really haven't done well grade-wise this year so I'm realistic enough to know that's not going to happen :(
I'll probably go to another Florida school- either FSU, UCF or USF. Although I really don't like any of them... at all. But I don't think I have much of a choice.
Ah well.

Ithaca College, I think. And the University of New England.

UVA! or William & Mary.

Harvard? No....Yale? No.......Suffolk County Community College? YEAH!...No.....Probably GWU, BU, JHU (If my next SAT's turn out superb) and perhaps Syracuse (if worse comes to worst). Hope I said that right....

haha good old Suffolk community college

Univ. of Illinois, minnesota, ohio, indiana...Whoever takes me man!

i'm only a sophomore, so i still have lots of time to decide.

From order from super reach to safety

Harvard ( lol, i want to try my EC's are really good so i have a shot at least)
Yale
Berkeley
Johns Hopkins
Rice
Texas A&M

I live in a small town northwest of austin, I will probably end up in either Texas A&M ( good fin aid) or Johns hopkins

I would totally give my left leg to go to Johns Hopkins ;] It's my first choice right now, despite what everyone is saying on the board about the cutthroat jazz & the depressing atmosphere.

If not, I'm almost positive I can make it into any University in Texas (I'm a resident here)... I mean, I know I'm accepted into all of the public schools (woo for the top 10% law). so.. yeah.. lol

I'm applying BME and thinking of premed: UPenn, JHU, Cornell, Duke, UMich, NYU, Boston U, Rutgers. Possibly a few others.

If you dont mind me asking you pinec0ne, why is JHU your top choice when you live in Texas.

Johns Hopkins looks great and all, but i've always lived in a small suburban town of Texas while occasionally visiting California. To me Baltimore seems slightly scary because it's so big and it gets cold there.

I know all you east coast people are going to laugh at my post, but i'm not joking.

universty of pittsburgh all the way

I don't mind, Rh.

;] JHU is my top choice because despite the fact that it's a hardcore school, I know I'm going to get a great education (grade deflation and all.. hrmph). It also doesn't affect my "permanent address," and the "90% rule" still applies to me. And I'm up for the challenge, anyway.

Baylor would be my second choice.

I live in a small town too-- in south east texas where the weather is so blah!

I'm going to visit Baltimore in two weeks, so maybe I'll change my mind about my first choice, but I'm ready for change... Plus I love cold weather. I can't get enough of it down here!

Well I wabt to go to UF but I don't see that happening unless I get some kinda of miracke but ya know I can always hope right

I most likely end up going to some other fl school
UNF FSU
USF
UCF
UMIami

Brown
Duke
U of Mich
Boston College
U of Miami
Maryland
Boston U
Suny Bing
Syracuse
Im only gonna be a junior though so i might add some schools and take some off of this list by the time im a senior

I would never go to Hopkins. I wouldnt be able to stand the atmosphere there even though i really like Baltimore. Even though im going to be doing premed i still want to party and fun in college and JHU seems like a place where ill never be able to do that

pinec0ne, i was really bored one day with a limited access computer. I decided to look into JHU, because one of my senior friends is going to it. Wow the schools looks amazing and the city looks really nice too. From what I've read the cut throat stereotype JHU has isn't real.

I want to party in college too, but not every weekend. From what I hear JHU parties aren't terrible and do happen, but the school doesn't revolve around the party atmosphere.

And you will give up an arm as well. I hope money isn't a concern for you.

Penn, Chicago, John Hopkins, Pitt, Wash U
