<p>@arandomgeek I would encourage you to apply to Univ of AL and have it in your choices to look more closely via a visit - they have a scholars day Saturday and many students from OOS come the day before with a full day planned by Honors College. They offer a lot in engineering - COE has grown a lot over the last 10 years - facilities, faculty, students - my dau is COE freshman and loves it. COE is offering a lot of sub-specialty opportunities in her area (civil eng) - have to see what they offer in your interest area(s). Univ of AL also offers a separate engineering scholarship for high stat kids in addition to full tuition scholarship.</p>
