I’ll admit, I do put people down quite frequently. But I’ve grown up in a way to be heartless and critical. Goal-driven, taught to ignore people and go for my goals.

Whatever makes you happy, I guess. I’ll just say that I’m pretty confident many successful people would agree that that is not the way to go about things.

It may not be, but I’ll find my way.

I hope I get into Stanford, it and Notre Dame are the only top 20 school I’m applying to.

Anyone heard of Colgate University? How is it?

^ I prefer Crest College or Aquafresh Academy.

Eastman
UMich
Northwestern
Bard
Oberlin
Lawrence
Juilliard
Manhattan School of Music

Obviously applying as a music major, haha. Tuba performance ftw. I’m not gonna be able to audition in person at all these places, so I’ve either gotta trim or send recordings. :(

^^ The alliteration was too much.

Yeah, it’s a pretty nice school. Really nice campus, new dorms, good academics…it’s someplace I’m applying

I’ve heard great things about Colgate; a few of my friends are there this year. The campus seems gorgeous based on pics I’ve seen.

I alway wondered. Does Colgate give its student 4yrs worth of Colgate toothpaste?

My friend wants to go to Colgate. It looks pretty.

I hadn’t heard of it until a couple of months ago when I stumbled across CC. It’s right up there with Purdue. I just can’t get away from the product names.

For the record, I’m applying to (in order to choice):

Barnard/Cambridge, Newnham College (One is the first choice-reality and the other the first choice-dream. Oh, money.)
Smith
Wellesley
Brown
Macalester
Carleton
Hillsdale
UMBC
Simmons

Also, Harvard and Yale because I can. shrug

^ Harvard and Yale say thank you for your money and the boost to their admission rate

LOL @ NulliSecundus. That’s harsh. :P

Harvard’s overrated. Yale’s where it’s at. ;)

Yale!!! Basically out of the Ivies I’m applying to, I love that one more than anything else.

I’m applying to Yale too. I love it, but basically i’m only applying to decrease their admissions rate, since I have no chance at all, haha

^Lol, it’s an amazing place. Too bad I’m probably not getting in. :/

I’m applying EA although it’s probably not my first choice.

The cool thing if we don’t get into Yale is that if, in 20 years from now, we are famous, rich and successful we get to say “Haha, Yale rejected me, and look at me NOW”
