also check out helpineedbooks.com

It gives you price options from a bunch of different sites so you can shop faster!

Amazon also has pretty cheap books

I use chegg.com.

Thnaks all. Any more input is appreciated.

bookfill.com!

gettextbooks.com

however some sites are now starting to let you rent books. i think it's probably more worth it to rent books. b/c most books you don't want to keep anyway as they take up space and lose value when a new edition comes out. usually the very small books that cost like 10-15 bucks i'd buy used or new, which ever makes more sense if the price and shipping works out to be the same. but for the more expensive books, renting seems like it will be the new way goin forward. screw universities and professors tryin to get every cent out of students.

amazon marketplace or ebay are also good.

I use AbeBooks: New & Used Books, Textbooks, Rare & Out of Print Books it's a really great place to go.

If we buy it online how costly are the shipping costs???
