the program "Visual Basic 6"? what site is it free on?

u can get it with most C/C++ books.

i have the book (visual basic 6 for dummies) but it does not have it. is there a site where i can get it?

ya, i tried downloading as well but cant find the basic...... on download.co, they have all kinda weird versions....... :p

Microsoft Visual Basic is not free. However, there are plenty of free compilers around. Just do a google on it.

tried that. if u get microsoft studio (or something like that) VB is in it but the program costs 10000+ $!!!

The program you're referring to is Visual Studio. Academic versions are slightly less than $100. However, you should be able to find something free for purposes of compiling stuff.

cool where can i find the one for less than $100? frys electronics?

There you go, someone posted one of the best warez sites around. Now run and get it before the mods bring down the mighty hammer of anti-piracy.

Why do you need Visual Basic? Are you learning to program and someone suggested you start with Visual Basic? Uh oh...

I STRONGLY suggest you start with something else. Take it from me, I program in Visual Basic, C/C++, Perl, PHP, Java, and a variety of other languages (not fluently but still). Don't start with BASIC.

Start with C++ or C or maybe Perl. Just not v.basic.
