I just get into college and i am wondering where i can get cheap textbook besides the bookstore. I try www.winwinchoice.com. where else can i go??

ebay.com
amazon.com (used)

Half.com

(10 char)

half.com is good; I second it.

I got books at like, 80% discount. Although sometimes the shipping ends up being more than the book, it's a flat rate for each type of books, so...

Alibris.com as well.

why, your college bookstore of course! ;)

lol that is evil :P

www.textbook411.com
its a pretty awesome website
its compares the prices + shipping for the book you want
across all the websites listed above and more

cheapesttextbooks.com also compares prices
abebooks.com

www.bigwords.com
^Another price comparison site.

Some of my science textbooks were very cheap here: http://www.valorebooks.com

i try winwinchoice and read their info, it is a different format than other websites. this one is asking students to find people from their schools, but not to try to buy back from students. It is more like cragslist, but winwinchoice focused just on books. Just my little opionion

heard you could get international editions for cheap.

cheapbooks.com

I noticed a lot of used versions are the teacher edition. Is this OK? Is it actually better because it has "extra notes?"

www.abebooks.com has international editions
