I'm wondering what schools in Massachusetts I would be able to get into with a 3.8 GPA.
I am a freshman at a small, liberal arts college wanting to transfer out.

Any suggestions are welcome!

I did apply at UMass Amherst, but I have yet to hear back and need a back-up plan just in case.

It’s hard to tell without other information. As far as UMass Amherst goes I think you should definitely be accepted. I am applying there as a transfer student as well! You have a slightly higher GPA than I and even I am confident that I will be accepted. So, you should be golden.

For other schools to apply to you may have a strong chance at BU and Northeastern. However, I am unaware of your intended major so I am not quite sure about other schools that you could be interested in.

You’ll be most likely in with a 3.8 at UMass. Can’t tell at other higher-tier schools without more information.
