<p>@CrewDad, the college never claimed that he graduated, only that he was part of the “family.” In freshman orientation (i.e. Propaganda 101), we were told that Frost was considered an illustrious member, even though he didn’t graduate. Every entering class is given the designation of the projected year of graduation, and you retain that number forever, even if you graduate early/late or drop out altogether. Frost is the Class of 1896.</p>
<p>My error. I read your statement "as for fudging alumni, schools do it all the time. My own alma mater claims Robert Frost’’ insinuated your alma mater fudged a bit and listed Frost as an alum. Indeed, Wiki does list Frost as an alum. No matter. Time to move on.</p>
