<p>It hadn't even occured to me until now but... where do you put stuff like winning first place in an academic competition or being named an Illinois State Scholar? The Common App only provides space to list your ECs.
Should I submit a resume instead? If I were to do this, would I have to send it by mail or is there a place on the common app to put it?</p>
<p>There’s an “Honors and Awards” section with spaces for five items.</p>
<p>there’s a box at the bottom of the “Academics” page called “Honors”. I would put them there</p>
