<p>I found out last week that I received finalist status, but I don't really feel like I deserve it.. My extracurriculars were all started in junior year;gpa was subpar;SAT is horrible(below 2000).. I wanted to know if there were any people like that on CC that won finalist status also. I really want to know where you guys ended up. I'm feeling really unmotivated because I feel like, "What's the point?"</p>

<p>From the beginning I thought I was never going to get anything; my stats are terrible. But I did it anyway because I’ve nothing to lose. Same right now. I have nothing to lose and so much to gain, so why not?</p>
