Where else is everyone applying?

Where are you guys all applying to?
I applied to Cornell (Rejected :(, I'm very depressed about that)
College Park
Towson
Princeton
Yale
Johns Hopkins
Duke
University of Pennsylvania

I feel like I will get rejected everywhere....:(

Penn State (My in-state public. I was accepted with $14k in scholarships!)
University of Delaware
UMD-College Park (I will most likely get rejected with my stats: 3.8 UW GPA and 1430/2400 SAT)
Temple University
University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign
University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
University of Georgia
Drexel University
St. John’s University

…Hopefully since I was accepted into Penn State, maybe it will translate into an acceptance at UMD (Even though Penn State was able to see my higher second SAT score, a 1540)

That’s awesome. Why would UMD not be able to see your better SAT score?

Because I took my second SAT in November, which passed UMD’s priority deadline. So they were only able to see my first score, a 1430/2400

Ahh I literally cannot wait to hear from UMD!

I have been accepted to the business schools at UMass Honors, Quinnipiac, and UNH and deferred from Boston College and Villanova. Im waiting to hear from UMD, Bentley, James Madison, Syracuse and then final decisions form BC and Villanova.

Applied and accepted to: Rutgers and UMass. Still waiting to hear from Binghamton and Ithaca.

Accepted to Michigan, Illinois, Ohio State, and George Mason. Still waiting on UMD, UNC, James Madison, and Florida.

I’ve applied to:
Pitt (accepted, 20k scholarship, not my first choice but my mom went to graduate school there so I’m comfortable with the city and the school)
Boston University
Northeastern
Harvard
Yale
Tufts
Columbia
Stony Brook
Barnard
Duke
UPenn
Carnegie Mellon

I’m really hoping for a decent merit scholarship from UMD (maybe the trustee if I’m lucky enough?) bc we do not qualify for much financial aid and it seems silly to spend all of my parents savings to pay for college. I’m dreading that I’m not gonna get in anywhere else or if I do it’s gonna be really expensive.

Applied/Accepted to: Fordham University, Rutgers
Schools I haven’t Heard Back From: UMD (Ahem), Barnard College, Drexel

Applied/Accepted: Fordham, UMass Amherst, Phila U, Temple, SUNY Albany
Defered: Northeastern
Waiting on: UMD (wanna be a terp so bad…), SUNY Binghamton, UDel, Boston Univeristy, Syracuse.

Topher525, my son was also deferred from Northeastern. Do you mind if I ask what your SAT score and GPA were?

Yellowdog99 - you will get into some of your schools. Cornell is tough to get into. Sometimes, however, admissions offices work in mysterious ways. I do know of a kid last year who got into UPenn and Cornell and got rejected by Maryland - go figure!

DS is applying also to Rutgers, American, GW, Duke, UNC, Emory, Georgia, South Carolina, Tulane, and Texas. So far he has gotten into Rutgers, South Carolina, and Tulane and he was deferred to regular decision at Georgia. We are still waiting on everyone else.

Yellowdog99-You’ll definitely get in to some of your schools. Especially Towson (is that your safety?) Good luck!

DD accepted - UIUC, pitt, purdue, ncstate, marquette. deferred u wisc, and u mich. sister at umd, loves it. waiting on florida and umd. from nj

When did you get a scholarship letter? I was accepted in October but didn’t get anything about scholarships, which is a little disappointing.

I applied and was accepted to Lock Haven ¶, Pitt ¶, Penn State, and UD (DE). UMCP is the only place I’m waiting to hear back from.
