How do I get one of these T-Shirts?

Not an answer, but pretty funny…

[WHERE FUN COMES TO DIE](http://uofcslogans.blogspot.com/)

That website has most of the good ones I’ve seen, except (IIRC): Spank Me, Whip Me, Make Me Read The Iliad (sponsored by a student S&M club).

Also, of course: If I Had Wanted An A, I Would Have Gone To Harvard. But I don’t like that one as much.

(To answer the OP, one of the houses at Chicago owns the rights to it and sells it. I think they usually print up a new batch for accepted students weekends in the spring. There’s probably someone you can write to before then; one of the current students may know whom.)

Do you know if that house continues to sell the shirt in the fall? I can’t make it to Orientation but already enrolled.

My bad - I meant the April open house.

They sell them and many others all the time in Bartlett and Reynolds Club.

Great website! I like the “When you sleep, we study” slogan. I don’t think it’s actually on campus t-shirts or anything, but it should be! :)

A google search also brought up these two chants:

* Herodotus, Thucydides, The Peloponessian War!
X^2, Y^2, Who the hell are we fighting for?
Go, Chicago! (This is actually used @ Model UN comps)
- cheerleader: C-H!
crowd:Chicago!
cl:C-H!
cr:Chicago!
cl:C-H!
cr:Chicago!
cl:What’s C-H for?
cr:Methane!

Do they actually have a shirt that says “Our Ivory Towers are Bigger than Yours”? That’d be awesome.

Okay, what is really on that t-shirt? Is it Where Fun Comes to Die or is it Where Fun Goes to Die?

idad,
The shirts do say “Where fun comes to die” On the other hand, the UChicago med school shirts say “Where fun comes to be resuscitated” :)

On the cheers front, this web page collects the most I’ve seen, including some historical clunkers: [University of Chicago Cheers](http://home.uchicago.edu/~ahkissel/cheers.html). Its version of the Thucydides cheer makes more rhythmic sense, too.

This was my favorite, though:

Maximize our GNP,
Titrate their solution;
Calculate their MPC,
Crush their revolution!
GO, MAROONS!

Now that’s a cheer one can believe in.
