Where is the Odyssey scholarship mentioned on the uchicago Web site?

<p>The other day I saw a thread here on CC about the financial aid offered by various colleges, and I saw a post about the U of Chicago that didn't mention the new Odyssey scholarship endowment. I tried looking up a link to that news, eventually finding the press release from this summer, but that prompted me to think that a prospective student could surf by a lot of pages on the uchicago.edu Web site, including pages about financial aid, and not know about that scholarship program. How many pages, so far, mention the Odyssey scholarship? What are their links? </p>

<p>the press office story about the gift that endowed the scholarship. I think many prospective students might miss that link, as I had to Google it up rather than find it by following links from the admissions or financial aid sections of the site.</p>

<p>Well, the scholarship program is to be implemented next fall, so I'd assume that they would not want to lead this year's incoming students to have the impression that they will immediately benefit from it.</p>

<p>I don't know how the admissions office is covering the Odyssey Scholarships or whether it will make it into the viewbook and other literature for this year. You're right in that many students seem to be completely unaware of it... we'll see what happens, I guess.</p>

<p>Wow! I STILL don't see any mention of the Odyssey scholarships on any U of Chicago admission or financial aid page. Check the Google search </p>
