So I am having a hard time making a decision on where I want to go next year. I got into both Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and James Madison’s Honors Program. I currently live in DC, so Indiana would be a lot further. On the other hand, Indiana seemed like a much nicer school, with kids I would fit in with more. Also, Kelley School of Business is ranked really high compared to JMU. JMU will end up costing me $24,000 a year, and IU will be more around $31,000 a year. If I go to JMU I won’t have to take out any loans, if I go to IU I will probably have to take out a few thousand a year in government loans. Also, being in the Honor’s Program has a lot of perks at JMU. Overall, I feel like IU has more to offer, but I’m not sure if it justifies the additional cost and distance or not. Any opinions on either school or tips on deciding? Thanks!
