HOOK? ah.. nothing. I don't know if this will be a hook, but I currently live in a family without any income and without my father, who lives across the pac ocean.

first, check your state’s policy. in some states you will be considered in state and get in state rates if you attended high school there.

Beyond that you need to have some schools on your list known to give generous aid to intls where every top intnl is not applying. Post on the intnl board for that, but schools like Smith and Holyoke are worth a look.

If you have over 650CR, most schools will not require toefl. If you’re Korean, don’t submit the Korean SATll, colleges hate that.

what do you want to major in?

You would stand a great chance but you’re an international meaning that it could be fifty times harder to get accepted and get financial aid (if you’re applying to ivies) otherwise I think you should be fine.

Is your research during summer or you plan to do it over schoolyear?

I want to major in Biology
And my research will be during the school year.
