I was at CSUN Library when I found out I got into UCLA, my initial reaction was to the slam the computer desk with my hand ... and then apologize to everyone around me for startling them, haha. I left the home page open just so people were passing by could glance at it lol

Did anyone else fail to notice that huge "CONGRATULATIONS!" banner on the home page at first? haha. What got me was "It is our great pleasure..."

It still hasn't sunk in, but I'm probably going to get DRUNKKK off my arse with my friends when it does.

I had left my Speech class around 8:30 PM and noticed that I received a text from my boyfriend telling me that some students in his class had been accepted. As soon as I saw that, I seriously drove home so fast!! However when I arrived, my darn computer kept losing connection lol. That was the longest five minutes of my life.

Then my connection worked again and…I saw the beautiful word, “CONGRATULATIONS” and I was in pure bliss. I screamed “I GOT INTO UCLA!!!” and called all my close friends and family members haha.

I feel so at ease now. The wait for April 30 doesn’t seem as nerve wrecking anymore.

I had just gotten home from work and class. I was alone, checked it, and immediately called my mom. I would be lying if I said I didn’t dance around my living room to loud music for a while after making the necessary phone calls to my family. I didn’t know what to do with myself, I was so excited!

I was working of course (5 days a week) and occasionally I check my phone. I checked my phone at 6PMish and my friend texted me saying “CHECK UCLA!!”. My other close friend had left a missed call. I’m like W T F so I ran over to the break room, called my friend who texted me, and said “IS IT TRUE???” and it was so I got off of work at 8:30 drove a bit fast home, ran over to the nearest functioning computer (my dad’s), checked, screamed and cried, Mom hugged me like crazy.
Great day, still in awe. Absolutely awesome.

An hour later my dad came home and he said “what happened? you got into SD?” YEAH RIGHT BAHAHAHAH

i was in my apartment at college and immediately did a fist pump and called my parents about the good news.
i actually also completely missed the CONGRATULATIONS at the top, but after reading the first part of the body, “Congratulations!” i knew it’d be good. @Andrizzle, you go to CSUN? that’s amazing you got in as a cal state student, theyre given the lowest priority of everyone i believe. unsure about the international students’ situation
