Do you plan to move back to your hometown? Start over in a new city? Stay in your college town? Move to a completely different part of the country? Move to another country? Or maybe simply go wherever your job will be? Do you plan to find a job and then move or move to a new city and then find a job?

I would like to move to a new country, like new zealand. I doubt that will happen though.

My college town is my hometown, my dream would be to find a job in socal where I used to live. My reality is moving back in with my parents while I pay off my student loans, then move out after.

I would love to move back to the place where I went to high school, but the odds of me staying in Michigan are slim given the economy. Ideally, I’d love to live here for the rest of my life.

I’m not 100% sure what my plans are post-undergrad, but I’d love to travel for a few months after graduation (pending I have the funds).lol

After college, I’m staying in socal. Definitely don’t ever want to move back to my hometown if at all possible. In fact, starting sophomore year, I’m going to start leasing an apartment year-round near my school so I don’t have to go home.

I don’t want to move back to my hometown unless my crippling student debt forces me back in the good ole’ childhood bedroom bangs head against wall in horror already thinking of it

Currently, I go to school in Nashville - may transfer due to financial reasons though to a cheaper school elsewhere - but I do know that I want to end back up in Nashville after school ends, or continue staying here. Completely fell in love with the city, great quality of life, great job market, etc.

Well, the school I want to go to is only a few hours away from where I live now, but wherever I end up, I’m going to live on campus, then go to grad school, and THEN come back here (living independently) unless I get a great career opportunity somewhere else… or any career opportunity, lol. Traveling though, not so much. Unless I come into a huge inheritance, I’m gonna be pretty much broke.

I don’t have a hometown, so that’s kind of a moot point for me. Ideally, I’ll be living in another country- grad school, etc. If it meant I could stay abroad, I would happily go into teaching English as a second language. Preferably though, I’d be staying in my field and teaching at the university level.

Seattle (where I currently live and will go to college), or thr Bay Area most likely. I can’t see myself living on the East Coast, commuting for miles and miles to work.

My major (hopefully) takes me travelling overseas, and living in Japan, Singapore, South Korea, or Malaysia for a bit would be plausible.

If I end up at NYU (fingers crossed) then I plan on staying in the city for grad school and beyond. If I end up somewhere else, then I’ll be moving to NYC.

Depends on where I get an internship/job offer, preferably somewhere abroad. I will definitely not be trying to pursue a career in either my hometown or the town that my school resides in.

I have at least another 4 years (woot engineering!) until I graduate, so it really depends on the job market then. I do plan on staying in NorCal though, but I will move back to SoCal and live with my parents if money is tight.

I hope to go to grad school somewhere in the South (my home region). I’ll spend some time at home, and most of the time at school.

And PRQuin, I’m glad you love Nashville! That’s in my home state!

I’d like to do Peace Corps, Teach for America, JET, or some other program like that when I graduate. I can’t imagine going straight into a plain old 9-5 desk job after graduating.

I would like to go to grad school in a school located near the east/west/south coast, primarily because I want to get my education in the US, and I want to get as far away from the midwest as I can. I’m not really counting hawaii, alaska, or puerto rico

Grad School, no idea where.

I’ll end up staying in Seattle or perhaps the Bay Area, depending on where I end up getting a job. I’m a computer science major, so these are where the large ‘powerhouses’ are.

Grad school, preferably on the East Coast, and hopefully New England. That’s where most of my US family members live and I’d like to be able to see them more often. After that, well, wherever I get a job!

I have no idea. Wherever I get a job. I want to live somewhere that isn’t in the middle of nowhere, though. Maybe the west coast would be cool.
