<p>Go to a general one--you can find out more about specific programs anyway. The earlier you go, the better course selections you'll have. Wait too long, and you might get stuck with less-than-desirable classes.</p>

<p>You cannot register for classes online as an incoming freshman until you attend your A&O. Your MyUW registration account is locked until then. Of course, you'd probably be able to figure out on your own if they allowed you to, but the purpose of the A&O is to also help get you integrated to campus life and the UW community.</p>
