Which address?!

I'm a little confused as to where exactly I should send my application. I found the following addresses on the USC website:

USC Office of Admission
File No. 51158
Los Angeles, California 90074-1158

University of Southern California
Office of Admission
Undergraduate
University Park Campus
Los Angeles, CA 90089–0911

Follow-Up Application Materials:
USC Office of Admission
John Hubbard Hall
700 Childs Way
Los Angeles, California 90089-0911

Express Mail:
USC Office of Admission
3601 South Flower
Tyler 1
Los Angeles, CA 90089-0911

Soooo... If I plan to send my application with DHL, should I use the express mail address? And what's the "normal" address for applications?

You are right, it does seem confusing because they give so many addresses. Any of the addresses are fine. As long as it says ""USC Office of Admissions", it will get there.

I've always considered the "normal" address to be the one on the bottom of the app- your 2nd example.

Thanks a lot, cc411. It seems as if every time I have a question, you are the one to answer it. :)
But I'm still a little unsure about the express mail address. According to the Admission FAQ on the website, this is the address that should be used for "express and overnight mail". Is DHL express mail?

OK- I made a call to USC Admissions for the Official Word on the mailing addresses-

Paper applications go to-
USC Office of Admission
File No. 51158
Los Angeles, California 90074-1158

Teacher/Counselor Report and any other form other than the app-
USC Office of Admission
John Hubbard Hall
700 Childs Way
Los Angeles, California 90089-0911

Express Mail INCLUDING DHL-
USC Office of Admission
3601 South Flower
Tyler 1
Los Angeles, CA 90089-0911

However, the adcom told me that it would also work to put the address from the app and that would arrive there also-
University of Southern California
Office of Admission
Undergraduate
University Park Campus
Los Angeles, CA 90089–0911

So- yes, awelex, use the EXPRESS address for DHL. I enjoy answering technical questions about USC admissions. :) Good luck to you.

cc411: I'm at a loss for words. You are so awesome! Honestly, thank you a lot. You make the application process a lot easier for me.

cc411 is awesome! She does a great job of helping everyone out! Group hug!

Ha ha! Nikara- you'll have to tell your mom about this. Tell her I said hi.

cc411: Last question: If i send everything with DHL, I have to use the express mail address, no matter whether I'm sending the actual application or just additional material, right?

You know, it might be a good idea to make this thread sticky...

Yes, if you are sending anything DHL, even the application, it goes to the express mail address because DHL needs a street address.

The good thing about this all is it really is mistake proof. Admissions prefers to be able to sort via their addresses, but they can also sort once they receive it. So no matter where you send it, they will receive it.
