Which affordable, but good college for me as an international student?

Magnetron basically told you to stay out of Western Texas. It is poor, rural and desolate. Not an enjoyable part of America.

University of Georgia is a great school.

Ah okay understandable thanks. And regarding Ohio University: Compared to Phillips U Marburg, is it better or not?

I don’t know a lot about the particulars of Philipps U, but I was using it as an example of a good regional university located in Germany, not one of the tippy-top level ones. I could have picked Nurnberg or Giessen. That is roughly the level you are talking about with most of the choices available to you as an international with a 3.56 GPA. Ohio U would be about the same academically, in a worse city than Marburg (sorry Athens), and way more expensive for you.

Your dream is 4 years in a friendly American city on a beach (heck, mine too). West Texas does not even remotely resemble that dream.

True, but not necessarily on the beach, if it’s a good city :).

With the German Abitur I could even go to the University of Munich for Business Administration. NC is 2,8 (GPA: 3.33). But Munich is one of the cities I don’t like. Plus, I truly don’t feel well here in Germany. Many (older) people treat me and other people with a non-german origin different and so many people are cold.
Okay, I’ll look for the other colleges and tell you. This is a great forum with good help.

Okay, so I’ve looked for these colleges and I am not happy with them, because they have a religious affliation. They also don’t offer this much scholarships.
I am looking for San Diego State University right now and I will search for some other universities.
Is SDSU worth the CoA of 35,000$?
