I really want to improve my score for the math section of the SAT, but don't know what book to study from. I heard good thing's about The blue book, grubers, and Barron's SAT 2007-2008. I would like to get my score in the 650 range, so which book should i get

Blue Book has official practice tests, so no matter what it's a must.

I recommend Rocket Review. I used it for 2 weeks and it got my math from a 590 to a 760 (using Blue Book practice tests as diagnostics). Granted, it then went down to 670 on the next test (lol), but it still helped a lot.

Yeah I also recommend RocketReview. Many people would get a 700 because they might not know how to do 5 questions, but then lose most of their points on careless mistakes. RR teaches you how to avoid careless mistakes and what to do when you're confused on problems.

is there any special edition i should get

The one I have is 2006-2007, I think it's the latest but you can check online.
