I was accepted to cal state Fullerton and cal state Los Angeles but I don’t know where to attend. I was accepted as undeclared at cal state Fullerton after being denied for their direct entry nursing program. And for cal state Los angles I was accepted as undecided with an interest in nursing. Where should I attend? I really want to be a nurse but I’m unsure where I should attend since I was denied at the CSUF program. Does Fullerton offer an alternative nursing program? And is Los Angeles a good school for nursing ?
Cal State LA has a good nursing program but its very competitive. You’ll have to complete the nursing requirement courses and then take a test to get into the program. I think they chose 70 students a year out of around 600 (the students that have already completed the courses and taken the test). The applicants are then rated by their overall GPA, TEAS exam scores, and experience in the health care field and/or volunteer efforts. The top-ranked students will be sent an Offer Made (email) and once accepted by the applicant, a Letter of Acceptance is sent to the applicant. You’d have to work your butt off to be the top. I honestly don’t know about the fullerton program so you should go do some digging online. Good luck!
