Should I take short calc or calculus 1 to better prepare myself for physics classes at the U of Minnesota? (I plan on studying physical therapy after a bachelor’s in kinesiology but I need to take 2 physics classes as a prerequisite)
Calculus I. Physics has a lot of math in it and a lot of deriving things. The more difficult math classes you take (and understand) before taking physics the better.
@physicslife thanks for getting back to me. Also, do you believe that if I were to take just short calculus, I will know all I need to be successful in physics? I understand that if i take calc 1 i will be more prepared but im wondering if I’ll know enough from short calc
