I got admitted to Rutgers University in NEw Brunswick. I was wondering which school is better: School of ARts and Sciences or School of Biological and Enviornmental SCiecnes for a Pre-Med Major?

I’d go with the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences.

I don’t know if one is better per se, but I usually associate the School of Arts and Sciences for those in more liberal arts concentrated fields. Plus I think being in SEBS gives you advantages, especially with housing and whatnot (anyone else, feel free to correct me)

As a pre-med major, though, there would be classes such as Orgo that will be on Busch. In SEBS, there are requirements that will mainly be on the Cook/Douglass campus, so the commute would probably get tiresome. (unless you divided up the classes so that they wouldn’t get overwhelming I guess?)

SEBS has slight housing advantages on Cook/Douglass because they are more mainly situated there, not on Busch. (I believe they don’t even have a spot in McCormick…) The advantages used to be more pronounced, but they changed the housing lottery system a lot this year.
