I really like Manzanita, OR. If it weren’t for the traffic, somewhere near Seattle. I would probably like somewhere in BC too.
Kruger Park, South Africa. Not sure how that would work but it would be my dream.
Montreal
La Jolla
Fremantle WA
Gatlinburg TN area
Naha, Okinawa
Cartagena
Branson
Stay put
London
Edinburgh
a quiet little island somewhere
It would be Paris for me.
We happen to live in a smallish city in WA where we would have wanted to move. If I had to pick another one:
San Diego CA
Waikoloa HI
Vancouver BC
San Diego has come up a few times above as well as La Jolla where I live. I remember when I came to San Diego for college in 1980 my uncle, who had been in the Korean War, asked me why I wanted to live in a Navy town!
Takapuna Beach (New Zealand)
Melbourne (Australia)
Maui, San Diego and Santa Fe all come to mind quickly.
I haven’t been to most of the places you well traveled people have been. I have gone to the FL Keys often, so I would like the vibe at Key West or another key.
Santa Fe I know and like, but a not the winters
Paris for part of the year.
These suggestions are so cool!!
Knightsbridge, London with a view of Hyde Park.
Galway, with occasional trips to London and Paris.
We (mainly me) spent five years researching where to relocate away from winter and San Diego won as I knew it would.
Ibiza
Copenhagen
(Ideally, a place in both and move between!)
Gosh, all y’all tolerate cold weather well!
Not me. My list will never include a city where I have to wear an Arctic-rated parka.
I’m content with the two places I now live, but if I had a ton of money, I’d buy a house in Dubrovnik right on the Adriatic.
I’m happy in Honolulu. I like to visit other places but the temperature is just right for me here.
