Which class is easier tyo get an A in - math 20D or physics 2A

Math 20D
or Physics 2A

i find the book for physics 2A very hard to follow

math 20d for sure. which physics book do you have? if its the “physics for scientists and engineers” by wolfson/pasochoff, that book is really good.

Completely depends on your background. I found Physics 2A exceptionally easy. I took AP Physics in high school and the class was basically the first half of AP Physics. I never attended class and only showed up for the quizzes. Barely looked at the book and put almost zero effort in the class and got an A. It was easy for me because I had learned the content before.

For Math 20D, I had to work to get an A because the material was new to me and I was rusty on math. 20D content has some overlap with 20F so if you have taken one class, the other will be a bit easier.

Both are easy classes. Math 20D requires less critical thinking. For most problems, I could solve by going through the steps. Very few tricky problems. Physics classes in general require a lot more critical thinking. You have to know which formulas to use and which data is relevant to the problem.

The easiness to get an A in those classes depends on many factors like your professor, and your education background. I personally found Physics 2A easier because I learned the material before and I enjoy solving physics problems, but you have completely different circumstances.

I’m honestly surprised (and a little jealous =P) at the responses above. Physics 2A was exceptionally easy for me, while currently in Math 20D, I feel some of the concepts take more effort to grasp. I guess it depends on the person!
