Years ago the NACAC published a list around late April of each year of all the colleges that were at that point in time still accepting applications for matriculation later that fall. Does anyone know if such a list still exists? I am helping a friend’s son who got rejected by most of the colleges to which he applied and who is now scrambling to find colleges which are still accepting applications this late in the cycle. Thanks so much for any help you can offer.
The NACAC list will come out in early May, but this year will be incomplete until Mid June…as many schools have changed their deposit deadline to June 1.
Many schools are still accepting apps. I started another thread communicating that Bard, St. Olaf, and Franklin and Marshall have re-opened their apps. Also google ‘colleges with late deadlines’ for a larger list.
Have the friend or friend’s son post their stats and what they are looking for in a college and posters will be able to help.
Try looking at less selective colleges. Also, community colleges.
Thank you very much!
Thank you!

Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
My student received an email from DePaul that they are accepting students “on a space-available basis” even though the deadline was 2/1.
Also, Miami University (in Ohio) sent an email this week stating that students can still apply and be considered for merit and financial aid. Their regular deadline had been 2/1, also.
Thank you so much!
Whitman College has opened applications back up and so has Ithaca College
Merrimack has reopened apps as well.
Thank you very much!
I have a feeling Hampshire might still take an application but not certain of this.
Received an email from Furman:
If you’re interested in applying to Furman, you still can. We have reopened our Common Application and Coalition Application if you envision Furman in your future. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis and enrollment deadlines will be extended into the early summer.
