<p>The UCs do not look at them directly.</p>

<p>Keep in mind that these schools will still consider rank, which is affected by freshman year grades.</p>
<p>i think it should be a LAW not to look at freshman year grades…ehh. that transition between 8th and 9th grade can be a pain.</p>
<p>TJHSST doesn’t rank their students.</p>
<p>Carnegie Mellon doesn’t.</p>
