Honestly, it if it wasn't for that awesome big museum (with no air conditioning!), seeing the pyramids in person, oh, and that place that sells souvenirs? It wouldn't be a good place to visit.

No A/C like anywhere. It's SO hot. The taxis are ****. The airport is seriously disgusting. It seemed like all of Cairo was dirty and grimey and falling apart. Did I mention there was no A/C in most places in 45 degrees celcius? oh, and the traffic is hell. yuck.

Sorry I trashed your country, man. But just what I saw of it... it just needs a major makeover.

Cairo is 1360 years old! It has to look like vtsp (in some places).
and it would be better to visit in the winter (temps at 20 celcius) and since you r from Kuwait I know that an AC is essential for life, but in Egypt the weather is not that hot in the summer (it has NEVER reached 45 here, don't know where you got that)
As Much as I hate to admit it, the Cairo airport is crappy. But you will only be in there for like a half hour anyway. Taxi drivers are jrtkd but you just have to know how to deal with them. (take the new ACed tourist taxis instead if you don't want to be ripped off)

And, yes, I get it's old, but it can be old and clean, don't you think? But yeah, Egypt's having a lot of problems right now, I realize that. But tourism in Egypt is important for the economy, isn't it? So there should be more of an effort to at least clean up the city a bit.

They have cleaned!!! lol
They cleaned all of the street by the Nile and around it and renovated lots of buildings. The same goes for Alexandria, the corniche was a $hit magnet a few years ago, but they rebuilt the road (now 5 lanes, previously 2) and painted ALL the buildings by the sea and renovations are still going on.
keep in mind that there is a problem with their budget--they don't have one! And it's hard to get anything done eithout the money they need.
They are doing a fine job,But, yes..I think that they could do better.

I kind of feel bad for Egypt. No one said Egypt it's not so bad.

Lucky for you, I was just about to say Egypt! I just want to be blown away by the Great Pyramids. Even seeing measly little monuments like the Statue of Liberty is a grandiose experience; imagine how much greater the experience would be in seeing the most colossal structures ever built.

I also want to see St. Petersburg.

You can keep all your Frances and Italys for awhile. It's been done before.

Thailand: Ayutthaya (the site of the former Thai capital, with some rather crazy architecture) and Krabi (the beaches), followed all by Bangkok (for obvious reasons, none good)
China: Can't get enough of the place, and I won't stop until I have seen everything in the house; the biggest attractions to me are located in Yunnan and Guangxi provinces
Cameroon: A good way to see a lot of Africa in a small space; Benin, with its voodoo culture, will complement this
Lesotho: the Drakensberg from the back side is awesome
Tanzania: the better and safer option for safari travel
India: just for kicks of seeing the place
Brazil: I actually get to see and deal people exactly like me for a change; besides, Brazilian Portuguese is a nice language (although Chinese is more aesthetically pleasing)

Hm...I went to Mexico when I was in fourth grade and I honestly don't remember any details, so I'd like to go again. This time I'll know some Spanish, and won't be 10, so I stand a better chance of not being absolutely terrified. And I could go into Guadalajara instead of staying on my grandparent's farm (although that was cool.)
