Which country do you most want to visit? and why?

random topic

which country have you always wanted to visit? and why does it appeal to you?

I'll start:

I've always wanted to go to France.
Why: well, the people I know who went there keep saying how beautiful it is etc.. I want to see for myself. Plus I'd be the only one in my whole family, aside from my brother, who would have gone anywhere outside Egypt and the Middle East.

your turn... :)

I can't narrow it down to only one!

Greece, because all my ancestors are from there. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to visit. I'm probably going there next summer, though, as well as France and Italy.

Argentina, Buenos Aires looks AMAZING.

UAE, especially Dubai. It looks so cool.

Austrailia, specifically Sydney and Melbourne.

France, I want to go to Paris and Nice. It looks beautiful over there.

etccccc.

Scotland/UK/Ireland because I love rain, bagpipes...well theres more to it than that. Its hard to explain.

Italy because of the mountains. The countryside. The sea.

the Netherlands for the Anne Frank House, and the watercanal streets.

Brazil for the Amazon River.

Kenya for the mountains and the beauty. And the giraffes. Gotta love those giraffes.

China for the Great Wall.

Russia for the Orthodox churches. Their amazing.

and there are quite a few more.

I can't pick just one! :o
haha

I'm a very...undecided person. :P

China: motherland. home. delicious food. yum.

France: I love the French language. There's really no other reason.

Italy: Food. Shopping.

Russia: I love Russian. And their architechture is amazingly beautiful.

I've always wanted to visit Australia and New Zealand :)

Any third world country where I can be a demagogue.

" " one American dollar can feed a starving family.

Some place pretty.

Where they don't all think that Americans are *******s.

Does this exist? I don't know.

Switzerland for chocolate. And France for pastries. And India, because Indian food is amazing.

I am hounored by thw two who want to visit Australia. It is very beautiful( if i do say so myself). If yo ever come make sure you go to the Great barrier Reef, Sydney, Melbourne and Ularu(the massive rock in the veryc entre of australia), especially around Ularu you can learn about the indigenous peoples of australia and as a white australian i find their culture amazing! Of course, ideally you should drive all around australia (or at lease travel for 2 or so months) to vist all those adorable little towns we have in abundace as well as our beaches and wildlife and bushland.(Sorry if i sould like an advertisment0

I would LOVE to visit Belgium, Swizerland, China,Canada, Cambodia, Africa, Japan, Wales and Ireland. Most importantly i want to visit America, because even thoguh there are similarities between Australia and America there are still massive cultural divides to explore!

I would LOVE to visit Scotland and England again and France is my favorite place after london that i have visited so there as well.:)

I love to travel as you may have guessed, it is very annoying that because of where Australia is it is hard to get to other countries easily.
apologies for the LONG post!

South Africa- just because everyone I met from there was interesting and cultured (I'm lacking a solid basis for judgment, but whatever). Also, I normally don't find foreign accents appealing, but the South African accent tickled my senses

Greece- I've always been in love with the country. From it's culture to its ancient civilization; it's fascinating, really. I'd also love to visit the Acropolis and the Parthenon and the many other ancient monuments of this country.

Well, I can't put Russia since was I was there many times (I was born there for goodness' sake) but I'd really love to ride in Moscow's metro at least one more time. My fault -- never was in St.Petersburg, should visit that town.

Everything else is banal: UK, Germany, French.

Australia/New Zealand is high on my list- it's gorgeous with the varied climates, terrain, etc.

I also want to visit Lithuania to see where my ancestors lived- not much else to do there, though, it's a relatively dull country.

China - my motherland...not to mention cheap and delicious food...and good sightseeing, very historical background

France - I really want to see Paris...it seems like a really arts-oriented place, and quite classy.

Australia - Kangaroos!! =]

Japan and the UK are two of my favorites.

Japan - Language, culture, food, technology, urbanism
Brazil - Do I need to explain?

In some parts of Ukraine it really can :)
Well, when you have a loaf of GOOD (no comparison to US white bread :\ ) bread for 20 cents then it's not hard to imagine how it would fed anyone.

The Netherlands. Why? =]

Djibouti.

Then i can say "i've been to Dj'o bouti before."

LOL. hahaha. That's brilliant.

All over Europe. France, Germany, Poland, Ireland, Czech Republic.
I love history and all these countries are so rich in history.
