which east coast schools feel like Carleton in personality?

<p>Bowdoin is smaller than Carleton. If size was a deal breaker for Carleton, he’s unlikely to go for Bowdoin. </p>

<p>Does it have to be on the East Coast? Seems like he migth also like Lewis and Clark, Whitman or one of the Claremonts.</p>

<p>St. Olaf is definitely very Minnesotan and therefore not politically active and somewhat passive/accepting of everything. Students have their own opinions but are more likely to listen to others’ thoughts and agree to disagree right away rather than trying to force their point across.
And although it identifies as being a Lutheran school, there isn’t much religion on campus other than the daily sermon.</p>
