So I’m not trying to take the easiest way out or anything. I am an in state student and I like engineering, more specifically, computer science. However, the computer science program at U of I is extremely competitive and I only have a 30 on my ACT, so I don’t think I have much of a chance. So as a second choice, I want to apply to another engineering field that I may have an actual chance at getting in. If I am doing engineering, it is easier to transfer between majors than to apply to something else and switch into the engineering department. Which engineering majors are the least competitive to get into?
