Guys i am confused over my
Engineering major. I need to decide it early so that i can take the appropriate courses in uni. I dunno which major to choose. I am interested in becoming a computer engineer but i hate the electricity chapter of physics i find it the most boring among all. I love programming but i don't wanna do CS coz i am
Interested in doing engineering. Chemical Engineering was my passion however my dad forced me to drop chem and take business management in IB as he wanted me to go for business major i studied chem in IGCSE and got 99%. My dad agreed now though for engineering. Mechanical seems resonable but i am confused. Please also tell me which engineering has the most workload. ? And can i do chemical engg with only 2 years of chem that too in 9th and 10th? Suggest me someother engg which has got
A high demand?

You can major in chemical engineering with 2 years of high school chem. You can do it with 1 actually.

ChemE has the most workload, EE/CS have the most conceptually difficult elements, but they all are hard in different ways and an absolute value judgment would be meaningless. Demand cycles through every few years and if anyone knows for sure how the market will look in 4-6 years, they sure as heck won’t tell you.
Take whatever you like most. That’s all there really is to it. If you really want to get into the business side of engineering, Industrial Engineering might not be a bad choice.

No one at my high school took 2 years of Chemistry (unless they failed it the first time or something). Plenty of kids didn’t take any Chemistry, most only took 1 year. The lack of Chemistry shouldn’t be a problem. I think the curriculum at my school for ChemE assumes no high school Chemistry (I can tell you no other engineering major assumes Chem) but if it assumes anything it’s just 1 semester’s worth, which you’ve probably got covered.
