<p>I have written two essays for the common app and can't decide which one I should choose. I'm a little hesitant of PMing them to people just because of the whole plagiarize aspect of it. My topics are Arranged Marriage and Fashion (not mall fashion but ateliers and courtiers). I feel like the arranged marriage essay is more substantive and a better written essay but I don't know if my personality is getting across to the reader. Meanwhile the fashion essay is more humorous and shows more personality but I feel as if they may view it as a vacuous or irrelevant topic since I'm not majoring in fashion (I'm majoring in journalism.) Any advice on which one I should choose? Or do you have guys have any suggestions for an honest reader?</p>
<p>personally, from reading your post i would want to read the arranged marriage essay more than the fashion one. maybe it's because i'm male, but i'm not that interested in fashion and it might turn off some admissions officers. but the arranged marriage one is an interesting, new topic so that just sounds better.</p>
