which flvs course(s) did you take??

FLVS offer chinese 2?

im not sure. my guidance counselor said they were going too. Im excited!

^^^ that is so cool!!

BTW, did anybody take psychology I at flvs? if so, how was it?

FLVS doesn't offer Chinese 2, at least not yet.

^ I wish they would've offered that last year. I ended up taking it at my school and I hated most of my classmates. They barely ever let the poor teacher speak. (This year I have the same teacher for AP Psych and she is actually able to speak and teach now). I didn't even realize they started offering Psych till I checked up to see if they had Chinese 2 yet.

Anyone know how interesting/hard are the global studies or earth-space science classes?

Also, anyone know if the SAT Prep class is worth the time?

FLVS has Psych now?

I didn't think that they did.

I'm taking Spanish II now, Driver's Ed, and maybe Chemistry I Honors this summer.

Yea, they must've added it recently. I checked a few months ago and when I signed up for 3 classes over the summer and they didn't have it back then.

I just looked.

They added that and Global Studies, but they also only have Psych I available, Psych II must still be in the process.

Spanish III is also available. Registration to that class is always VERY difficult so I see. Sometimes its there, alot of times its not and registration is closed. I will probably take that.

I am probably going to take Psychology I, hopefully they have Psychology II soon...

Psychology I was easy. :D

I'm thinking of taking Latin I and Lating II online just because I've gotten an interest for Latin and hey, easy GPA boost. Any experiences?

Latin 1 and 2 are awesome. I'm taking Latin 2 right now and I took latin 1 online already. Very easy classes plus I love them. But on some of the boring assignments I skip them until the very end of the class.

I've taken AP Art History and I'm taking AP Micro right now

What's AP Micro like? Is it a lot of work to do each week? I want to take that and AP Macro next year.

^^^i am not sure what AP Macro is like, but i am taking that class soon

I found out, that FLVS is going to offer chinese 2

When you take an AP class through FLVS, what's it like? Are you allowed to finish the class ahead of time like other classes? Where do you report for the test? Do you have to pay the test fee or will they pay for it for you?? (Sorry for all the questions, I'm curious)

ap classes are freaking HELL. don't take one if you don't have at least 10 hours of free time a week. I'm SERIOUS.

AP calc isn't so bad. It is actually the easiest one out of the 4 I've seen. I heard the AP English classes are a LOT of work. The AP Bio must be murder, and so should US history, since they both normally require a lot reading anyway.

I'm taking AP calc, ap computer science, ap art history, and Ap us gov right now. They are hell. 10 hours a week per class, and I am very much behind pace on ap computer science and ap art history, which I started in the summer.

AP gov seems pretty easy. I haven't really delved into it yet. But there is a lot of book reading. AP art history is probably the most difficult material-wise, since there are like a thousand art terms and hundreds of art movements you need to know, there is a moderate amount of work. AP calc, as I have said before, is pretty easy, but that is only because math is my forte and I have had teachers who have been worse in math.

AP COMPUTER SCIENCE IS PROBABLY THE MOST DIFFICULT CLASS I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Not only are the algorithms needed to complete each assignment complicated, but there is so much work. So much freaking work. I bet if I saw how much work there was IN AP English, it would be less than AP computer science.

AP Exams are free. And so are the classes. But be careful, don't take these classes if you just want an A. All of these classes are pretty much a guarantee A if you put effort because you can submit assignments more than once, but it sure as HELL isn't a free A.

AP gov is the only one I plan on taking out of those. AP calc has a good teacher at my school so I'm taking it there instead. And I'm willing to do the work for it. I want to actually learn the material rather than just get an A because at my school, some of the classes are easy A's like Macro and gov, but few people learn the material and in each of those classes, only about 2-4 people actually pass the exams.

What happens if you finish early in the course? Do you stay in it after you finish until the AP exam or do you just have to review by yourself right before the exam?

did anybody took physics on flvs?

florida is pretty awesome

LMS-i'm taking it now. Sooo stupid, boring, and pointless.

I am taking AP government right now. It is kind of easy except the exams are kind of hard.
Is the final exam similar to the chapter exams ?
