I'm looking at applying for a grad program in Biomedical - Immunology/Toxicology. Some of the schools I'm lookng at need a GRE Subject test. Which is more 'acceptable'? Biology or Biochem/Biology? Is one of those clearly more recognizable than the other?

Why don't you call the school admissions and ask directly which GRE Subject Test do they prefer?

Agreed with tenisghs - contacting with the admission committee is the best way to find out which test is most relevant to you. In addition, as I noticed, most (if not all) biomed programms accept both GRE bio and biochem results. So, I think that the most acceptible will be one that mostly correspond to your background. For me it was biology.

Most programs will let you take either test without privileging one over the other, and the biology test is generally considered to be easier to study for.
