Hello,Which is better for premed:Mercer university or Georgia Tech? Thanks
Wherever you can get better grades.
thank you
Considering the grade deflation at GTech, Mercer without hesitation from a “GPA” point of view.
HOWEVER if you’re not committed to premed* or are among the 3/4 freshmen who change their minds, GTech would be better since job prospects after GTech are excellent accross the board (good at Mercer too, but GTech ranks among the top universities in the entire country in that respect).
Finally, hoping for med school = keep debt low.
to answer your question in a more useful way for you, can you please provide
- Highest level of math completed and grade
- AP Chem? AP Bio? AP Physics? AP English Language? (grade)
- EMT training, volunteering at a clinic, shadowing a doctor?
- U and W GPA + test scores?
- cost of each if you calculate (tuition, room, board, fees) - (grants, scholarships)?
Thank you very much
