OK I want to study economics. But at the same time i want to excel academically and in ECA as well. Which is the best place between yale, harvard, princeton, upenn, mit, columbia uni, and nyu and why. I haven't been to this places but i want to know what makes it special besides its rank and name.

Columbia is in NYC, the epicenter of the world. It also has a Core c.urriculum.

UPenn opens its doors to all 4 undergraduate schools and most of its 12 graduate schools. You can supplement your econ major with courses from, say, Penn Law School and Wharton business.

MIT is the greatest engineering school in the world.

NYU is for people who couldn’t get into Columbia.

Harvard, Yale and Princeton are Harvard, Yale and Princeton and that’s enough :)
