<p>Which is more competitive? Cal or UCSD bioengineering? Cal is known for hardcore engineering while bioengineering is THE strongest (and most competitive, I believe) major at UCSD.</p>

<p>dude LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! i think cal overall is more competitive, after all you're taking not only bioE classes, but GE's and other classes, which will be harder at CAL than UCSD, despite the fact that maybe bioE classes at UCSD are harder. If you truly want it, you'll succeed, and its the best school out of the two for the major. what do you want to do after graduating (grad school) or work?</p>

<p>I'll be doing grad school for sure. Hoping to get at least a Master's in bioengineering first. And then going for an MBA.</p>
