<p>They're not "more concerned" with either... the two are just different...</p>
<p>Like most elite colleges, Princeton is probably most concerned with what kind of courses you took in high school.</p>
<p>Princeton computes your overall academic strength on a 1 to 4 (it could be up to 5 now, but that's irrelevant). They look at all of your scores, grades, accomplishments, recommendations, etc., and then base their rating on a generalized assessment. If you do poorly on one SAT II but have exemplary indicators otherwise, they'll ignore it. If you do very well on the SAT but otherwise aren't a strong candidate, they'll ignore that as well. One specific test is not going to make or break you.</p>
