Dearest Splitting of the Amoeba: A mother separates from her daughter forever. Thought to be so good and turned out to be so bad.

how can you say napoleon dynamite was boring? its not a 3 hour adrenaline rush, but it was still an awesome movie.

most boring movie ever would have to be Castaway. I mean....what was the point?

It had Tom Hanks...

I liked castaway....napoleon dynamite was a snooze fest

i dunno, i dont really find any movies boring. it's probably because i'm very easily amused. crappy movies are especially fun to watch (you got served comes to mind) because...they're funny

and i have to defend napoleon dynamite...it's not action-packed or anything, but if you watch it with the right sense of humor its hilarious.

"The Thin Red Line"

OMG awriaqfdfeewsf that was a good movie watr u talking about?

The WORST movie was Meet the Fockers!!!

I actually found Apocalypse Now pretty boring. I don't know, I just didn't like it. Another movie I absolutely hated (althought it wasn't boring) was The Incredibles. God that sucked. A little off topic, but I just had to throw that out.

Usually I don't watch movies I think will be boring though.

"Meet the Fockers"?

Are you kidding me? lol, that was an awesome movie.

Lost in Translation

I'm sorry, i know what it was supposed to be about and all its subtle themes, and i really didn't think it was THAT AMAZING. overall just boring and drawnout

Meet the Fockers wasn't good. The sex jokes got old after a while.

Yeah it takes a special appreciation for movies like 2001: A Space Odessey, Lost in Translation, Adaptation but I managed to be patient and usually I'm rewarded. Just a thought from an ex-wannabe director tho haha. The most boring movie to me was John Q. I try not to watch bad movies but it was on when I was at in a friend's room. Or sitting thru a MST3K movie but those shouldn't count b/c they're supposed to be bad.

Lost in Translation...what were the "subtle themes" besides obvious ones of lonliness & being "lost"?

I didn't like Sideways so much...thought it was too long & who cares that much about effing wine. Altho it was probly the image of the 2 fat naked people humping each other or the old naked fat man (yes they showed it all) that totally ruined the movie for me.

Meet the Fockers was soooo ghey. It was all about the dumb baby that kept saying one stupid word. Its meant for people 40 years and older.

Barber Shop
My Fair Lady
Mystic River
Dodgeball

Castaway and Shane. Yeah couldn't get into the whole Western thing. And Tom Hanks has just lost his appeal to me as an actor.

i saw this movie, all it proved to be is a sleeper:i slept all through. hi Brigette?

"Lost in Translation...what were the "subtle themes" besides obvious ones of lonliness & being "lost"?"

well, i took them to be subtle because it was so boring

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. When I saw this thread, that's exactly what I was going to post. I'd also like to add Saving Private Ryan to the list. I also second whomever said war movies are boring -- war movies Vietnam war and later in my opinion.

Lost in Translation was horrible!!! I saw like 30 minutes of it, and had to go return the movie.

I just saw LOST IN TRANSLATION this morning and it sucked balls. ABOUT SHMIDT
SHALL WE DANCE
BRIGITTE JONES 2
APOCALYPSE NOW
A.I.

cant think of anymore right now..and GLADIATOR was awesome. how could you say it was boring.
