Which is the most boring movie?

seems like we pretty much have a consensus on Lost in Translation.
I also hated Apocalypse Now...what a weird & crappy movie. ew.

oh WHAT THE BLEEP DO WE KNOW....zZzZzZzZzZz

I loved Mystic River!

Vietnam war movies are sooooo awesome, if you dont like them theres something wrong with you (or you just dont like them)

Yes... We Were Soldiers was awesome.

mystic river was a total farce. The so-called themes were phony and manipulated. Sean penn was also horrible as his character. Just goes to show that the academy awards are a scam.

I agree about Lost in Translation

every few minutes I'd look down to see if I had accidentally hit the pause button on the remote....

Sideways might be the most boring I've ever seen. Buddy of mine actually reclined across a row of seats and slept through the second half.

i cannot believe someone said gladiator. that's like the best movie ever.

I must defend:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (one of my favorite ever movies!)
Napolean Dynamite and Meet the Fockers (definitely not profound, but far from boring if watched with the right group of people)
Lost in Translation (beautiful movie, not all movies have to have continuous action or comedy)
Castaway (Tom Hanks is wonderful)

That said, I agree that About Schmidt was pretty boring

"Napolean Dynamite and Meet the Fockers (definitely not profound, but far from boring if watched with the right group of people)"

The people you watch movies with doesnt affect how dumb it is lol.

lol I didn't get About Schmidt and Lost in Translation either! All the critics were raving... and I had to force my eyelids to stay open through all the... non-action. Maybe I'm just not old/mature/deep enough to appreciate its beauty.

I thought I was going to hate Meet to Fockers though... I ended up nearly choking from laughter.

Ah! lol I think I need to revise my depth. Gotta be more worldly and appreciative of slow and subtle works of art.

Girl With a Pearl Earring

If you watch a movie with good friends, everything seems funny.

"Lost in Translation" may have been boring, but it was a well-made and had good performances, but I do think many people made too big a deal about it.

I usually force myself to finish watching movies that are bad but within the past year I couldn't finish "Soul Plane."

I thought "Closer" was mostly a dull movie, but there were certain scenes that I liked a lot.

How about some good movies? I thought Cold Mountain was a good movie.

jajaja, most of ya'll were so funny!, I believe that the Titanic wasn't so bad, but it was really long. mmmm, I was wondering about the movie of Napoleon Dynamite, that maybe I should watch it....jajaja, just kidding! I sure do believe ya'll.

Cold Mountain was horrible if you've read the book (we did both in English).

I love war movies in general, but there was something about Apocalypse Now I didn't like. Full Metal Jacket is one of my favorites, as is Saving Private Ryan.

"Boring" is a self-inflicted wound.

Napolean Dynamite was too hyped and very boring. I didn't think it was funny and I have a good sense of humor usually...

abs of teflon-I totally agree. Being bored is a choice, you can find humor and fun in almost anything.
