I'm very interested in these 3 majors but I m having a hard time choosing one. I know it depends on what I am passionate about but in your opinion what is the most useful major and the one that has more career options? Thank you so much guys :)

You probably have the right order there. There are quite a few good career options in psychology. You could try to find a college where you could minor in film studies.

I would rank it 1. Film studies. 2. Psychology. 3. Sociology

Based on income potential although by availability of jobs, I’d rank it in reverse. Film studies is a much more talent based, luck based, entrepreneurial venture. The others, you can be quite talentless and still find a job.

Definitely psychology. Not sure about sociology, but film studies is actually ranked consistently as one of the * worst * majors you could possibly get. Visual film studies always rates poorly in terms of income, job opportunities, etc. It’s mostly because film, as said above, is an entrepreneurial venture, and heavily based on talent and luck rather than traditional academics. It’s also a career where most of your work is going to be project-based, so there isn’t the same long term stability as being hired by, say, a firm and working there for decades.
