<p>i know its a pretty wierd question, but i was wondering if i should choose an underfilled major (like history or sociology) and then, after a semester, choose the major i want to apply with (economics).</p>
<p>i really hope to get into UC San Diego, or UC Berkeley. i have a 4.04 wieghted GPA, 400 hours of volunteering, 1840 on SATs (still have to take ACTs and the SATII (Math level 2, English lit, Bio)), and am a pretty good writer.</p>
<p>You're not very specific as to what you're interested in or what you want your major to do for you.</p>

Chinese + International Business, minor in Computer Science</p>
<p>i'm about 70 % sure i want to go to med school, but if that doesnt work out, i want to go into business and work for a large firm. i'm interested in majoring in Economics so that if med school doesnt work out, i can get into the business sector</p>
