Which of these is the best undergrad school to land a consulting gig?

If money doesn't matter in the choice (all will end up being close to the same price), which one would be best to land a consulting job, hopefully at one of the Big 3.

IU Kelley
Purdue Krannert
Minnesota TC Business school
UIUC Business school
Wisconsin Madison
Depaul
Butler

Thanks!

Indiana Kelley but none of them really are big targets for MBB

To be a consultant, paying your own health insurance, with a family is a difficult path.

My H has always had a W-2 job and when he was out of a job, consulting helped him out, but we still had to make COBRA payments until he landed a permanent job. At the moment, his W-2 job plus two part time consulting gigs has been a big benefit.

OP is referring to being employed by one of the major consulting firms, not to freelancing.

None of them, to be honest. MBB has gotten more competitive in recent years, to the extent that it would now be easier to make it to a top 5 medical school.

UIUC and IU would come closest, but you’ll probably need 4.0 in a hard science/math major, plus great interview/problem solving skills.
