I'm I junior, I have no idea what I want major in, let alone be, I'm torn between the sciences and the arts and I'm an "avarge" student. All that plus I just moved to the states from Trinidad and I just did an exam callled CXC that qualifies me for college but I'm not sure how colleges view thoes results.

So is short my little problem is how to pin piont a universty, which matches me and even wheather to choses liberal arts or not. Yes I know its is rather broad my question but I really am not sure were to begin. Right now I'm hooked with Reed college but I don't know wheather it would be right for someone with no sense of direction as my self.

You just have to research, research, research. It's hard to pinpoint a level of school without knowing your GPA/SAT scores. You also need to take into consideration size of school you want, location (Northeast? California? Upper Midwest? Big City? Small rural town?), and type of people (conservative/liberal, frats?, etc.). Once you figure out what you want in a school, I'd say you should get the Princeton Review Best Colleges Guide and just sort of skim through it and find the schools you think you might be interested in. Fiske is good too.

Well my GPA is 3.8 wieghted, and I'm doing SAT next year I do prefer small places but the smaller it is the harder it is to get into right? Location I don't care but my parents do. And the people .......well like me?
Does this help?
I have being looking through like you said at universities but I still feel completly swamped.

You can probably enroll as an undeclared major at a large university with a diverse student body such as:
Texas A&M Coll Station
U Houston
U Texas Austin
U Colorado Boulder
U Arizona
Arizona State

If you are willing to travel to the coasts, you might find greater diversity.

Reed is an awesome choice for you. You said "Right now I'm hooked with Reed college but I don't know wheather it would be right for someone with no sense of direction as my self". Reed, just like the school that I am attending is more interested in "soft variables," such as character, involvement, and intellectual curiosity for someone who may not have a sense of direction.
