Which prep book is better?

I'm stumped on whether I should buy Barron's or PR for AP Calc AB, I've heard good reviews for both so tell me which you think is better and why? And the same thing between Barron's or Cliff's Notes for AP Bio which is better and why? Thanks for any input in advance

I’m trying to figure out the best for AP Calc AB as well.

Bump…

Generally Barron’s overprepares while PR does enough. If your the type that being over-prepared just makes you more comfortable then choose Barron’s. Otherwise don’t.

That is an oversimplification but I think it explains best.

Just buy both of them saves you the time deciding.

My advice is to, yes, buy both of them. I did that for Calc BC and got a 5. They both definitely helped.

If you’re worried about price, use Half.com, very cheap. Students like me who want to get rid of review books sell the (pretty high quality) review books on Half.com. I spent no more than 10 bucks.

I suggest that you do the PR review sets first after learning each topic. The PR book is closer to a textbook, and it’s practice sets are pretty close to the real thing.

Then, if you want to guarantee a 5, do the Barrons review sets and tests the month before the exam.
