okay... so I am taking AP Spanish Language this year, and I heard from people in my school that took the course that the AP Test is really hard. What prep books are the best for the best scores??
thanks

I would really like to know too. Almost no one on CC gives a definitive answer on this.

I personally think Barron’s is harder than the test, so if you can master Barron’s, you are GOOD to GO.

AP Span Lang isn’t really something you can prep for, IMO. It’s a whole another language, not just a school subject. Just pay attention in class, do all the given homework assignments and give it your all for the speaking exercises, and that should prepare you well enough. But if your teacher sucks and doesn’t give you good enough material to prepare throughout the year, then you will probably have to go seeking for a prep book around January or February.

I would also like to know. I’ve heard Barron’s and REA, but no one has a real consensus.

^I just got Barron’s. Whatever. I’ll be happy with a 2 on the test anyways. I did hear that Barron’s is bad for actual review, but the test prep is pretty decent, albeit substantially harder than the actual test.

Barron’s is much harder than the actual test but go ahead and get it (the one with the CD) comes with two practice tests. See how you do. Haven’t used any other type of prep book but I got a four. EVERYTHING on Barron’s AP Spanish is harder. Be warned.
